Mrs. Ruble/Principal   ATTENTION STUDENTS:   Be safe: When walking to and from school stay on the sidewalk. Show courtesy to drivers and respect homeowners and their property. Misbehavior will be delt with according to school policy. Mr. Thomas/Assistant Principal   BINDER CHECK:   Binder check Friday during lst period. A complete binder check will allow you to go to nutrition 5 minutes early. An incomplere binder will follow violation procedure. Mrs. Gonzales/Learning Director   BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT:   Is August 31, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This night is set aside for students to bring their parents to the campus to meet teachers and enjoy a fun evening together. There will be food served from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Parents will be able to vist classrooms from 6:00-7:00 p.m. A raffle will be held at the end of the evening giving away many special prizes, gift cards and baskets. Mrs. Chamberlin/Counselor   ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS:   Did you have a 3.5 GPA or better for your 7th grade May semester grades? If so, you may be eligible to join CJSF. CJSF is a school club that recognizes the academic excellence of our students. You have the opportunity to graduate with honors and be recognized during our promotion ceremony. If you have questions or would like to pick up an application, see Mrs. Domingcil in room B-1 during nutrition. The deadline is  FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH . No application will be accepted after this date. 7th graders will be able to apply in January. Mrs. Domingcil/CJSF Advisor

Misbehavior will be dealt with according to school policy. Mr. Thomas/Asst. Principal   DRESS CODE INFORMATION: Pants and shorts must fit at the waist, hips, crotch, and thighs. Please no baggy, saggy, ripped, torn, or cut. Dresses, shirts and girl's shorts must be an appropriate length. Boy's shorts must not be longer than the bottom of their kneecap. Shorts must be hemmed. Shoes must be worn at all times. Head coverings are for sun protection only. Please NO sunglasses. The following tops are not permitted: see-through, halter, braless, backless, tube, or tank tops. No half, midriff or low cut blouses and straps must be 2 inches wide. Words or pictures showing alcoholic beverages, drugs, satanic worship are not permitted on clothing, back packs, or binders. Dress associated with gangs or unacceptable groups are not permitted. PE uniforms are to be worn only during your PE class.   BINDER CHECK:   Binder check today during lst period. Ms. Jaime/Attendance   ATTENTION 7TH GRADE GIRLS:   The time has finally arrived! If you would like to be part of the awards-winning Colorguard - listen up!  Letter Girl Tryouts  will run  through Thursday, May 13th  and Flag Girl Tryouts  will be  May 14th - 18th.  If you would like to make new friends and have a great time, come by the office for more information and to pick up an application! Mrs. Arreola/Mrs. Domingcil   ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS:   Get your 2010 Class T-shirt from Mr. Carrillo at the finance window for only $10.00! This year's T-shirt comes complete with all the names of the 8th grade class!!! Don't be left out, supplies are limited, so get them while they last!!! Go T-Birds!!
