Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year at Roosevelt Elementary. It is my honor and privilege to be serving as the new principal of such an outstanding school.

We are proud of our dedicated, experienced staff and enthusiastic learners! Increasing student achievement continues to be at the heart and soul of our work at Roosevelt. The greatest reward in education is seeing the small steps and giant leaps forward that students make from day to day, month to month, and year to year. It is in that growth that we get our greatest satisfaction as educators.  

With that in mind, you are invited to be an active participant at Roosevelt. Whether you are a classroom volunteer, member of the PTO or School Site Council, or special event participant, you are encouraged to be involved! Research clearly demonstrates that parental involvement in their child’s school coincides with a greater likelihood of academic success. Together we can provide the best possible learning experiences for our children.
